Course Outline
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is increasingly common in the general dental practice as a 3D, high definition diagnostic tool to manage everything from cracked teeth, oral maxillofacial pathology to digital implant planning. This course is designed for dentists who are considering a CBCT machine in their practice or have recently made a purchase and would like to understand the basic principles of Cone Beam Technology and its application. The focus of this course will be on the operation and navigational tools of the CBCT software, implant diagnosis and planning; incorporating Osstem’s OneGuide Implant System.
